For this activity we found the inverse as a class. To get the inverse of y=x^2 you switch the y and x then take the square root of them. Then you should get plus or minus the square root of x equals y. When folding the paper on the dotted line that was made, the function and its inverse matched up. It is possible for a function to have an inverse that is also a function, an example of this would be y=x.
